YOU WHO CAME FROM THE STARS EPISODE 2

Aliens including Do Min Joo are picking samples of each specimen they can find in the world.  Then Do Min Joo leaves the group.  The market is busy as usual but everyone and everything suddenly freeze.  Do Min Joon exits from a door wearing human clothes. 

He seems to be pleased with what he sees and even tries to play the game the teenagers are playing before he turns them back to normal. In the evening, Seo Yi Hwa is copying a book as ordered by her mother.

She complaints about this but still continue her task until she falls asleep. Unfortunately, she was kidnapped. She wakes up in the middle of the forest but managed to escape her kidnapper who was about to pick her up after setting up her cord to kill her and make it look like a suicide.Seo Yi Hwa runs as fast as she could but her kidnapper aims to kill her this time with bow and arrow. But before the arrow hits her, Seo Yi Hwa vanishes.

She wakes up in another side of the forest and was about to escape when she realized the man who just helped her was the same man who helped her at the cliff.  Seo Yi Hwa asks for his name. Instead, Do Min Joon shows her that he can fly in the air. Then returns to the ground and gives Seo Yi Hwa her hairpin.

That hairpin is now exhibited at the museum inside the university. A class is studying the artifacts in the museum. The teacher tells everyone that an anonymous sponsor donated most of the artifacts in the room in 1914.  The teacher added that the management is still trying to find the donor because the artifacts are all meaningful and valuable. 

However, the donor remained unknown.  He is no other than Do Min Joon who is listening to the class for a while inside the museum. Do Min Joon was about to get off the elevator when the door opens and reveals Cheon Song Yi waiting on the floor. 

After a few seconds of staring at each other, Do Min Joon moves without saying a word.  Cheon Song Yi calls him.  The lady wants to inform him that she is older than him and should not use honorifics to him. 

A light argument ensues between the two as Do Min Joon uses sayings during the Joseon dynasty instead of today’s lingo.  Then Do Min Joon walks out.  Though he is inside his room, he could hear Cheon Song Yi mumbling about him.  That night, Do Min Joon dreamed of a lady in a pair of glitter pumps walking backwards and then falling into water. 

The woman’s face, however, was not shown in his dream. Do Min Joon discusses his dream with lawyer Jang the following morning.  The lawyer believes it might be a premonition just like what he experienced 12 years ago.  Laywer Jang tells him that with such special abilities, he should help those in need. 

However, Do Min Joon shares he experienced helping others before but the outcome for helping wasn't right, it even became worse. Cheon Song Yi is in a shooting.  Her road manager tries to convince her to do a special documentary about her daily life.Cheon Song Yi argues claiming she is already special so there is no need for such special shows.

Cheon Song Yi declines. But when her assistant shares that if she won’t do it, her rival Han Yoo Ra would do the special, Cheon Song Yi agrees to do it.Han Yoo Ra is in a salon. She receives the information that Cheon Song Yi will do the special she really wants to do.  She wants to know the reason why Cheon Song Yi is doing it.  Yoo Se Mi arrives and seats beside her.

Han Yoo Ra gets a chance to find out why Cheon Song Yi agreed to do the special.  During their conversation, Yoo Se Mi mentioned that Song Yi only agreed to do the special because Yoo Ra will do it if she doesn’t. Se Mi adds that Song Yi thinks of Yoo Ra as her fierce rival.The following morning, the special documentary on Cheon Song Yi began.  Clad in very comfortable outfit, Cheon Song Yi walks to the lobby with her staff.

She even sees Do Min Joon but snobs him. She pretends to use a bicycle but never rides it until she gets to school. During the shoot, she even mistakenly mentioned an anesthetic drug instead of a supplementary to care for her skin.  The docu continues with Cheon Song Yi’s road manager whispering on the side in case they might meet one of her classmates that she must greet to make it look to people that she is a friendly student in school.

Inside the class of Do Min Joon, everyone is submitting their report.Cheon Song Yi submits her essay as well creating buzz in the class.Lecturer Do Min Joon checks her report.He calls her attention.Then Do Min Joon, having been alive for the past 400 years, reveals to everyone the real authors of the paragraphs or portions of Cheon Song Yi’s reports.Because of plagiarism, Do Min Joon gives Cheon Song Yi a failing mark.

All these were documented.Aside from the TV staff, Cheon Song Yi’s classmates are also recording her latest embarrassing incident.Apparently, Cheon Song Yi’s road manager made the report.  After the class, everyone is talking about Cheon Song Yi’s score: zero.

Do Min Joon heard the students as he passed by the hallway.  Hearing their conversations and hateful comments about Cheon Song Yi and even their plan to post their recordings online,  Do Min Joon, who remembers Cheon Song Yi’s sudden outbursts, uses his ability to stop them.The student’s mobile phone drops on the floor on its own.  Back in the classroom, Cheon Song Yi is reading the negative comments of the netizens.

Beom enters the room to apologize. He expects to beaten up by Cheon Song Yi but the actress just wants to be alone for the meantime. Cheon Song Yi changes her outfit and runs to Hong Bok Ja, her friend who owns a manga café to breathe.

Meanwhile, Do Min Joon is playing mahjong when an old man arrives.  He calls Do Min Joon by a different name but lawyer Jang lies that the person the old man is looking for is his father who already passed away and that Min Joon is his son whose mahjong skills are similar to that of his grandfather.

The old man bragged that Min Joon’s grandfather always lost to him, to which Min Joon tries to correct since the truth is the other way around.  However, the old man insists on his lies.  Do Min Joon gave in.  On their way home, the lecturer and the lawyer are talking about what just happened.  Min Joon adds that even if he has lived for 400 years, he doesn’t have many memories to take with him.Lawyer Jang reminds him about the child he met 12 years ago.  He adds that he is already looking for the kid.But Do Min Joon tells his friend not to go that far.Though he wants to meet the girl before he leaves, the lecturer thinks they will meet if there is a reason to but if he leaves without seeing her, then there is no reason for them to meet again.

At home, Do Min Joon is resting in his divan while looking up at the stars in his glass ceiling.He is about to rest when he hears someone pressing the buttons of his lock.  Cheon Song Yi is drunk.

She thinks Min Joon’s room is her unit.  She does funny things to make the door open.  When Min Joon opens it, Cheon Song Yi is surprised to see him.  She remembers that he gave her zero and embarrassment.

She curses Do Min Joon and managed to enter the lecturer’s house.  Lee Hui Kyeong learns that Cheon Song Yi is not picking up calls from her staff.  He calls him but Do Min Joon answers his call.When he arrives at Do Min Joon’s apartment, instead of expressing gratitude, the wealthy heir accosts the lecturer for letting a woman sleep in someone else’s unit.

Do Min Joon tries to give him some reason but still didn’t get any thank you from Hui Kyeong.The two even falls into an argument when Cheon Song Yi wakes up and tells them to shut up.  Hui Kyeong immediately takes her home.  With his ability, Do Min Joon listens to the conversation between Hui Kyeong and drunken actress.

Hui Kyeong attempts to stay in the apartment and even plans to kiss Cheon Song Yi but the actress apparently wasn't sleeping.Do Min Joon smiles as he listens how Cheon Song Yi kicks Lee Hui Kyeong out of her unit.

Lee Hui Kyeong remembers that he was supposed to fetch Yoo Se Mi to celebrate her birthday.  He calls her and explained what happened.  Se Mi pretends its okay because she is still working.Hui Kyeong meets his brother Jae Kyung.The two had a light conversation.Jae Kyung’s phone rings prompting him to tell his younger brother to go in first.Jae Kyung answers the call from a woman who is begging for her life.Here, it has been established that Jae Kyung kills.

The following morning, Do Min Joon was about to leave for work when he noticed something under the sofa- a wallet.Cheon Song Yi’s wallet.He is stunned to see the photo inside it – a family with a young girl who looks exactly the lady Min Joon met 400 years ago and the young girl he saved 12 years ago.  Memories of the past poured in.

Do Min Joon rush to find Cheon Song Yi when he chanced upon her road manager at the hallway.  After asking the road manager where he can find the actress, Do Min Joon almost fly with his car to meet her.Cheon Song Yi is having her make-up done when she suddenly needs to puke after drinking the previous night.Inside the restroom, she meets Han Yoo Ra and greets her.  But Han Yoo Ra’s response is quite offensive.  She wants Cheon Song Yi to find a new salon because she is pissed off seeing her.

Cheon Song Yi tells her to do the same.  A heated argument ensued between the two actresses.  Cheon Song Yi wins the argument and walks out.  Pissed off Han Yoo Ra follows her and even throws things her hand immediately picked up to Cheon Song Yi.  A more heated argument continues, this time in front of many staff of the salon.  Han Yoo Ra’s issues are more personal and even derogatory but Cheon Song Yi managed to retaliate well.  This pissed off Han Yoo Ra and was about to slap Cheon Song Yi when Do Min Joon holds her wrist and drops it.

Cheon Song Yi is surprised to see him.  He tells her to go with.  Han Yoo Ra gets mad for interfering and wants him to get lost.  This made Min Joo irked and then the sudden blast of electronics inside the salon.  Do Min Joon takes Cheon Song Yi outside.

When they are alone, Do Min Joon just keeps staring at her while Cheon Song Yi keeps asking questions.  He could no longer control himself, Do Min Joon shows the picture in the wallet and asks Cheon Song Yi who is the girl in the picture.Cheon Song Yi grabs the wallet and refuses to answer a suddenly impatient, hot-tempered lecturer.

Cheon Song Yi was about to walk out but Do Min Joon grabs her and pushes her to the wall.  He asks her who she is.Then Do Min Joon’s realizes that there are things that are bound to happen, whether one likes it or not.  And Earthlings call it fate.
